Bio
My career in production started in 1979 as a cameraman for PM Magazine in Columbia, Missouri. To develop my storytelling skills, I applied and was accepted at the “AFI Conservatory” in 1989 and relocated to Los Angeles, California.
I had incredible growth in the 90s, producing the short film “Some Folks Call It A Sling Blade” and forming a production company, producing and directing music videos for Yoshiki, Hide, and X-Japan, as well as television commercials. Experience in this field sharpened my skills as an editor, leading me to the next phase of my career.
In 2000 I focused on editing, creating award-winning shows for Discovery Channel, TLC, and The National Geographic Channel.
In between projects, I enjoy traveling, photography, and studying Shakespeare.
